Skit on Society, Truth held at GCW Udhampur

 

UDHAMPUR, SEPTEMBER 26: As a part of fortnightly activities under celebrations of Gandhi Jayanti other Cultural Committee in collaboration with Department of Music, Government College for Women (GCW), Udhampur organised a skit on the theme Society and Truth at College Vatika, here today.

Principal of the host college, Prof. Anjali Mahajan was the Chief Guest on the occasion.

Principal appreciated the efforts of the organisers for organizing the programme. She said that such events would provide a platform to budding students to channelize their talent in the right direction. She urged the committee and department to organize similar programmes in near future.

The skit was organized by Dr. Seema Sharma (Convenor Cultural Committee), Prof Shallu Jasrotia Department of Music and Prof. Yash Kumar, Department of Music. The event was coordinated by Dr. Kewal Kumar. 

On the occasion, about 150 students of the college witnessed the skit which was highly applauded by the audiences 

Among others, Prof. Sarika Mahajan, Prof. Jugal Kishore, Dr. Tania Akhter, Dr. Sushma Choudhary, Prof. Shama Rani, Dr. Sanjay Kumar and other faculty members were present on the occasion.
