A massive protest was held in Jammu on Saturday in favor of the Jammu bandh called by the IkkJutt Jammu Party (IJP).

JAMMU: A massive protest was held in Jammu on Saturday in favor of the Jammu bandh called by the IkkJutt Jammu Party (IJP). The protest was led by Shri Vir Vikram Aditya, Secretary of the IJP.

The protesters gathered and raised slogans against the government's decision to impose toll plazas, smart meters, and property tax in Jammu. They also demanded the release of the YRS members who have been arrested by the police.

Aditya said that the bandh was a success and that it showed the anger of the people of Jammu against the government's policies. He said that the government was trying to loot the people of Jammu through these taxes and that the people would not tolerate it.

The bandh had a significant impact on the life of the people of Jammu. Shops and businesses remained closed. The government had to deploy security forces in the city to maintain law and order.

The protest is a sign of the growing discontent among the people of Jammu against the government. It remains to be seen how the government will respond to the demands of the protesters.
