 JAMMU, DECEMBER 19: A spectacular valedictory function was held today at Excise and Taxation Training Institute, Nagrota to mark end of one month Induction training for Sub inspectors (Finance Department, UT of Jammu and Kashmir).

A batch of 47 Sub inspectors (Finance Department, UT of Jammu and Kashmir) comprising 39 males and 08females from different educational backgrounds passed out successfully after the completion of one month induction training programme.

The parade was reviewed by the chief guest on the occasion, Excise Commissioner, UT of Jammu and Kashmir Subash Chibber.

The occasion was also graced by the Additional Commissioner (Administration & Enforcement), State Taxes Department, Namrita Dogra.

In the welcome address, Principal Training Institute, Renu Bhasin gave a detailed overview of the one month long induction training programme where trainees were well trained for taking up any task and challenges in their professional journey.

This was followed by investiture ceremony marking a moment of pride and honour as the badges of ranks are presented to them and there is an official induction of the recruits. It was further followed by the award distribution ceremony where the trainees who have excelled in different spheres such as academics, physical test, overall performance, sports and cultural activities were appreciated and awarded.

Speaking on the occasion, the Excise Commissioner congratulated all the trainees and the award winners for their hard work and overwhelming performance during their training at the training institute, Nagrota and appreciated their impeccable turnout and drill movements during the parade. In his address, he stressed upon the importance of discipline, decision making and positive approach in their professional as well as personal life.

Also, the trainees were addressed by the Additional Commissioner (Administration & Enforcement), State Taxes Department Namrita Dogra who stressed upon the sincere working and encouraged them to work with passion and contribute in the nation building.

Also, present on the occasion were Deputy Excise Commissioner (Distilleries), Deputy Excise Commissioner (Accounts) and Excise and Taxation Officers of the department.
