Ayush Shopian conducts NCD Screening Drive at AHWC Sedow

 SHOPIAN, MARCH 01: In a move to reach out to the far-off areas of the district under the special screening drive of the Department of Health and Medical Education, a Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) Screening Drive was conducted today at Anganwadi centre Sedow, Shopian by Ayush Shopian.

The event aimed to promote early detection and prevention of NCDs among the local community.

The initiative focused on raising awareness and encouraging proactive health measures to combat the rising burden of non-communicable diseases. 35 people were checked for Hypertension and 23 for diabetics during the drive.

The screening drive witnessed active participation from the local population. Such initiatives play a crucial role in strengthening preventive healthcare and ensuring early intervention for various health conditions.
