The shocking and disturbing video of a young girl being attacked by stray dogs in Alwar, Rajasthan, has gone viral on social media, sparking outrage and concern across India. Although this incident happened in Rajasthan, it highlights a serious and growing problem—the rising number of stray dogs—in Jammu and other cities. 😢🏙️🐕

Stray dogs are common in most Indian cities, also Jammu had seen a worrying increase in dog-related incidents. Local residents often report aggressive encounters with stray dogs, causing bites, injuries, and sometimes even death. Jammu’s Municipal Corporation data shows a sharp increase in dog bite cases in the past year, making it a public safety and health crisis. 📈🐾🚑

One major reason for this problem is poor garbage management. Open garbage piles attract stray dogs and encourage them to breed and grow in numbers. Sterilization and vaccination programs are often promised but rarely carried out properly, which worsens the problem.
