Candlelight marches held across Bandipora to condemn Pahalgam killings

 

BANDIPORA, APRIL 23: Peaceful demonstrations in the form of candlelight marches were held across Bandipora district on Wednesday evening, condemning the recent civilian killings in Pahalgam.

In Bandipora town, a large number of people, including members of civil society, traders' associations, transport unions and local residents gathered to express their grief and solidarity.

The march in Bandipora began at Harmukh Chowk and concluded at S.K. Stadium. Participants raised slogans condemning the killings and expressed support for the families of the victims.

Speaking on the occasion, participants emphasized unity in the face of tragedy, saying, “We stand united in mourning this grave loss. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, and we unequivocally condemn this senseless act of violence.”
