Hindustan Shiv Sena delegation meeting Chief Conservator of Forests in Jammu

A delegation of Hindustan Shiv Sena leaders, headed by State President
Vikrant Kapoor
, today met the newly appointed Chief Conservator of Forests Dr. V.S. Senthil Kumar (IFS) and extended him a warm welcome.

The delegation took up several important issues concerning the Forest Department, including the removal of encroachments on forest land, fencing of forest areas, and problems faced by contractors.

Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Kapoor said, “Dr. Kumar had worked in Jammu earlier and had performed remarkably well, which is why people’s expectations are very high this time too. He listened to us patiently in a cordial atmosphere and assured us that all genuine issues would be resolved at the earliest.”


He further said that the Chief Conservator has assured that the Forest Department will soon come out with a new welfare policy for the general public, which will be sent for higher-level approval once finalized.

The delegation comprised State Senior Vice President and J&K In-charge Ramesh Gupta, Praveen Gupta, senior leaders Sunil Debgotra, Rakesh, Baba Ram Kaith, Rohan, Abhishek, Himanshu, Amit, women’s wing leader Jyoti Devi, and several others.
