As Part of National Road Safety Month,Avny Lavasa, IAS, Leads Initiative for Safer Roads
The rally was flagged off from Zorawar Singh Chowk, adjoining Bahu Plaza, Jammu, and passed through Green Belt, Gurudwara Stretch, Gold Market, and Nanak Nagar, before culminating at Hyundai Promise, Nanak Nagar. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from citizens and stakeholders, spreading a strong message of disciplined, safe, and responsible driving.
Organized as a tribute to the nation in the run-up to Republic Day, the initiative aimed to promote road safety awareness, traffic discipline, and civic responsibility among the public, in line with the objectives of National Road Safety Month. The rally highlighted AM Group’s people-centric philosophy and its continued commitment to community welfare.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Ms. Avny Lavasa, IAS, Administrative Secretary, Transport Department, Government of Jammu & Kashmir, who emphasized the need for collective responsibility and sustained awareness to reduce road accidents and ensure safer mobility for all.
The rally was further honored by the presence of Guest of Honour Sh. Amit Bhasin, JKPS, SSP Traffic Police Jammu & Kashmir, and Mr. Jasmeet Singh, JKAS, RTO Jammu, who shared valuable insights on road safety norms, traffic discipline, and responsible transportation.
The successful conduct of the rally reflected the visionary leadership of Chairman Mr. Jatinder Gupta, Managing Director Mr. Sanjay Mahajan, and Directors Mr. Ankur Mahajan, Mr. Akshay Mahajan, Mr. Aryan Mahajan, and Ms. Sahira Mahajan, whose collective efforts continue to drive impactful social and safety-oriented initiatives across the region.
The rally was organized by AM Group in association with the J&K Traffic Police, J&K Transport Department, and the All J&K Transport Welfare Association, with support from AM Hyundai and AM Bajaj. The event was held under the patronage of Mr. Parvinder Singh, Chief Patron, All J&K Transport Welfare Association.
