Jammu: Shamsher Singh Chadank has been appointed as the new President of the Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha. On the occasion, former President and retired Judge Pavitra Singh ceremonially presented him with a turban, formally handing over the responsibility of leading the organization.

Speaking on the occasion, members of the Sabha expressed confidence that under the leadership of Shamsher Singh Chadank, the organization will continue to work for the welfare and unity of the Rajput community.

It is pertinent to mention that retired Judge Pavitra Singh was elected President of the Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha in 2019 after the resignation of Narayan Singh. During his tenure, he worked towards the welfare of the community and led efforts for the organizational restructuring of the Sabha.

The Shri Amar Kshatriya (Rajput) Sabha was established in Jammu and Kashmir during the reign of Maharaja Hari Singh between 1925 and 1949, with the aim of strengthening social unity and promoting the welfare of the Rajput community in the region
