BHADERWAH, APRIL 14: The second day of the Baisakhi festival was celebrated with great enthusiasm and devotion here with meals organised at several places across the subdivision. A large number of devotees visited temples to offer prayers.
ADC Sunil Kumar Bhutyal, visited various mela sites including Tesna Ganesh Temple and Bount Nag Temple at Bounta Gutasa to attend the celebrations. He was accompanied by the CEO BDA, Tehsildar, AO BDA and representatives from different departments.
The Baisakhi melas attracted a significant gathering of locals and visitors.
The sub-division administration has made all necessary arrangements to ensure smooth celebrations. These included proper security, uninterrupted water and power supply, traffic management, cleanliness of lanes and drains, functioning street lights, medical facilities and proper maintenance of roads. Clearance of landslides and road slips was also ensured for the safety and convenience of the public.
The coordinated efforts of the administration ensured that the festival was celebrated peacefully and successfully.
