DYSSO Doda meeting with officials on anti-drug campaign

DODA, APRIL 19: The District Youth Services & Sports Officer (DYSSO) Doda Jaffar Haider Sheikh today chaired a meeting with over 320 Youth Services & Sports (YSS) officials to assess the progress and implementation of the ongoing 100-Day Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir campaign in the district.

The meeting was attended by Zonal Physical Education Officers (ZPEOs), Physical Education Lecturers (PELs), Physical Education Masters (PEMs), Physical Education Teachers (PETs) and Rehbar-e-Khel (ReK) teachers.

The DYSSO highlighted the importance of coordinated efforts at all levels to ensure wider outreach and meaningful impact.

Stress was laid on strengthening awareness campaigns through innovative and well-planned activities, promoting sports and fitness as effective tools to combat substance abuse and ensuring sustained community engagement at the grassroots level.

Meanwhile, a Nasha Mukt Abhiyan awareness event was organized in the Indoor Sports Hall. The officials and participants reaffirmed their commitment towards building a drug-free society.

The DYSSO urged all officials to continue working with dedication and proactive spirit to make the campaign more impactful and successful across the district.
