Srinagar: Gandhi Global Family organized a prestigious felicitation ceremony at International Hotel, Srinagar, to honour the outstanding achievements of Class 10th students from various districts of Kashmir who have excelled in the recently concluded board examinations.
The event was
presided over by the Chairman of Gandhi Global Family, Padma Shri S.P. Verma,
who appreciated the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the students. He
emphasized the importance of education as a powerful tool for social
transformation and urged the students to continue striving for excellence in
their academic and personal lives.
The programme
witnessed the presence of several eminent personalities, including Vice
Presidents Dr Mohammad Ayub Mattoo , Mehjabeen Nabi, G.M Dar ( Retd SP)and,
General Secretary Noor-ul -Amin along with other distinguished guests from
different walks of life.
The primary
objective of the event was to recognize and encourage students belonging to
humble backgrounds, including orphans, who have demonstrated exceptional
academic performance despite facing numerous challenges. The organizers
highlighted that such initiatives aim to motivate students and provide them
with a platform where their efforts are acknowledged and celebrated.
During the
ceremony, the students were felicitated with medals, and words of encouragement
from the dignitaries. Many speakers lauded the resilience and determination of
the students and stressed the need for continued support to nurture talent from
underprivileged sections of society.
The event
