Devotees participate enthusiastically; Administration and Police Join Celebrations

POONCH, APRIL 13: A grand Mahan Nagar Kirtan was organized to mark Khalsa Sirjana Diwas. Shri Guru Ramdas Ji Sewa Society and the Management Committee of Gurudwara Baithak Mahant Mohar Singh Ji organized the congregation, attracting active support and cooperation from the Sangat of Poonch.

The Nagar Kirtan was conducted successfully under the overall supervision of Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji of Dera Santpura Nangali Sahib.

The congregation commenced from Gurudwara Baithak Mahant Mohar Singh Ji and culminated at Dera Santpura Nangali Sahib, witnessing enthusiastic participation from devotees across the district.

Deputy Commissioner Ashok Kumar Sharma; Senior Superintendent of Police Shafqat Hussain Bhat and other officers from the civil administration and police department participated in the religious procession, reflecting communal harmony and strong administrative support.

Ragi Jathas recited Gurbani Kirtan from beautifully decorated Trolleys, while the Sangat joined in devotion, creating a spiritually vibrant atmosphere along the entire route.

Adding to the grandeur, several groups from Punjab showcased traditional Sikh martial and cultural arts, including Gatka parties (martial art), Nishanchis, Nagara parties, Narsinga groups, band parties and Dhol performers. The performances were widely appreciated by the Sangat.

Later, Mahant Manjeet Singh Ji performed Ardas and Guru Ka Langar was served to all devotees, promoting the spirit of equality, service and brotherhood.

The event concluded peacefully with active cooperation from all stakeholders and overwhelming participation from the public.
