Vilakshan Singh Hoists National Flag at Party Headquarters

Jammu, August 15: The Jammu & Kashmir National Panthers Party (Bhim) marked the 79th Independence Day with great enthusiasm and national pride at its Party Headquarters in Jammu. The celebration commenced with the ceremonial hoisting of the National Flag by Vilakshan Singh, President of JKNPP (Bhim), followed by the singing of the National Anthem.

Addressing the gathering, Vilakshan Singh extended heartfelt greetings to all citizens of India on this historic occasion. He paid tribute to the countless freedom fighters whose supreme sacrifices paved the way for India’s independence. “This day reminds us of the valour and resilience of our ancestors who envisioned a free and just nation,” Singh said.

He emphasized the importance of reaffirming our commitment to the Constitution of India, which embodies the ideals of justice, liberty, equality, and fraternity. “Let us pledge to uphold these principles and work collectively to eliminate the evils that hinder our progress—be it corruption, poverty, communalism, casteism, or injustice,” he added.

Singh also highlighted India’s remarkable journey from colonial rule to becoming one of the fastest-growing economies in the world. He called upon the youth to become torchbearers of change and contribute actively to nation-building.

The event witnessed the presence of several senior party leaders and dedicated workers, including Naresh Chib, Balwan Singh, Rajesh Gondhi, Sanju Bhagat, Rakesh Gupta, Naveen Bali and others, who echoed the spirit of patriotism and unity.
