GANDERBAL, FEBRUARY 16: The Deputy Commissioner (DC) Ganderbal, Shyambir today convened a meeting of the District Level Committee (DLC) constituted by the Board of Revenue regarding Change of Land Use (CLU) in the district.

At the outset, detailed discussion was held on site plans, building plans and comments submitted by various departments for the issuance of NOCs of pending cases of CLU in the district.

The DC directed the concerned department to submit quality comments/concrete NOCs within stipulated time as per the provisions of PSGA Act to ensure timely disposal of CLU cases adding that all concerned line departments shall be responsible and accountable for implementation of the conditions laid down by them in their NOCs.

Beacon and Planning departments were directed to furnish the exact details regarding distance to be kept from the centre of road while furnishing NOCs. Moreover, Beacon Department has been directed to furnish the authenticated hard copy of building line details/ building bye laws which are taken into consideration by the department while issuing NOCs to this office.

While discussing the site plans, the DC directed Town Planner to assist the applicants to prepare the site plans as per the building bye laws so that the chances of rejection of cases are minimized.

The DC directed the concerned to inform the applicants telephonically regarding any kind of deficiencies reflected by line departments.

The meeting was attended by Additional Deputy Commissioner, Mehraj-ud-Din Shah, Chief Agriculture Officer, GM DIC, concerned Tehsildars and other officers of concerned departments.
