 Srinagar, February 11: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Vijay Kumar Bidhuri who is also Additional Chief Executive Officer, Srinagar Metropolitan Regional Development Authority, (SMRDA), convened a meeting of concerned officers to review the physical & financial status of the works under SMRDA.

The meeting was attended by Commissioner, SMC; Additional Deputy Commissioners of Srinagar, Kulgam, Budgam &  Bandipora; Vice Chairman, SDA, Chief Engineer PW (R&B), senior officers of I&FC, Wullar-Manasbal Development Authority, Town Planning,  Soil & Water Conservation, SDM west, Srinagar, Sindh Forest Division, Executive Engineers of R&B.

Div Com reviewed the status of  developmental works at different sites in Srinagar, Kulgam, Bandipora & Budgam.

Addressing the meeting, Div Com directed all the executing agencies to speed up the pace of on going works on projects of public importance including community halls, parks, pathways, besides upgradation of Parimpora Bus Stand & Transport Nagar.

He also urged departments to process the bills for the release of funds to complete projects within stipulated time.
