RAMBAN, MARCH 31: The Ramban Forest Division marked the joyous occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr with a significant plantation drive across multiple Eidgahs and surrounding areas within the division. The initiative aimed to enhance green cover and promote environmental sustainability by planting numerous saplings in both urban and rural regions, particularly focusing on degraded lands and public spaces.

The plantation drive was conducted under the supervision of Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) Ramban, Ankit Sinha. The initiative not only celebrated the spirit of Eid-ul-Fitr but also reinforced the commitment to a greener and healthier environment for future generations.

The DFO emphasized the importance of such environmental initiatives and encouraged community participation in afforestation efforts. He highlighted that trees play a crucial role in combating climate change, improving air quality and preserving biodiversity.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from locals, volunteers and forest officials, making it a collective effort toward environmental conservation. The Ramban Forest Division reaffirmed its dedication to continuing such initiatives, ensuring a sustainable and eco-friendly future for the region.
