BUDGAM, JUNE 30: Dharti Aaba Abhiyan was conducted at Tribal Village Mujhpathri, a remote village in Block Khansahib regarding Saturation of Government Schemes across 25 Interventions spanning 17 line departments of Tribal Villages.
All Line Departments ensured participation in Gram Sabha and Representatives spoke about the eligibility of their respective Schemes where gaps in terms of 100% saturation was required.
The event saw greater participation of people than the previous day from Tribal community and people apprised the representatives regarding the need for such Gram Sabha benefitting the Tribal Community.
To grace the occasion, students of Govt Model Middle School Mujhpathri, Khansahib performed on various cultural events like Gojri folk music, etc to highlight the importance of preserving ones' cultural and local heritage.
Besides, onspot registration of schemes like PMAY -G, Kisan Credit Cards, Swadesh Darshan Guest Homes, HADP Scheme, JJM FHTC, PMJAY Health Cards was done.
People in large number participated in this awareness campaign where the quick redressal to some of their grievances raised by community members was done by the concerned line departments.
Important dignitaries who spoke on the Occasion are Block Development Officer Khansahib, Zonal Educational Officer Khansahib, Block Medical Officer Khansahib among others.
BDO Khansahib who is also the Nodal officer of the Dharti Abha Jhanbaghidari Abhiyan while speaking on the occasion highlighted the importance of such events.
He stressed that the people should come forward and enroll themselves under various schemes being offered by the line departments in the District.
