Commissioner Secretary launches literary collection, smart classroom at CCM

JAMMU, JANUARY 1: Commissioner Secretary Cooperative Department, Babila Rakwal, today inaugurated the Smart Classroom at

the Centre for Cooperative Management besides launching the “Coop Heroes” magazine, releasing the calendar and unveiling the newsletter of CCM during an event organised by the Centre.

The future vision of CCM aimed at strengthening the cooperative education and capacity building in the Union Territory was also presented.

The programme was attended by Additional Registrar Jammu Division Bal Krishan, Joint Registrar (Audit) Jammu Division, Priyanka Bhat and Joint Registrar (Special) Jammu Division, Preeti Sharma, Deputy Registrar Jammu, Bhawani Atri and UNATI Chairman Vikrant Dogra along with the staff of CCM Jammu.

The Commissioner Secretary appreciated CCM’s initiatives and emphasised innovation and skill development for strengthening the cooperative movement.

She also lauded the proactive role of CCM Jammu in nurturing a skilled cooperative workforce. She advised the institute to continue aligning its academic and training initiatives with emerging sectoral needs, innovation and good governance to ensure sustainable growth of the cooperative movement.

The Principal, Centre for Cooperative Management (CCM), Jammu, highlighted the significance of the initiatives launched during the programme. He stated that the Smart Classroom will modernize the teaching–learning processes by integrating digital tools and interactive methods, thereby enhancing the quality of cooperative education.

The Principal emphasized that the launch of the “Coop Heroes” magazine will motivate the stakeholders by showcasing success stories and best practices from the cooperative sector, while the CCM calendar and monthly newsletter will serve as effective communication tools to keep members and institutions informed about ongoing activities and achievements.

Elaborating on the future vision of CCM, the Principal said that the institute aims to strengthen capacity building, promote innovation and develop skilled human resources to support a transparent, inclusive, and sustainable cooperative movement in the Union Territory.
