SAMBA, NOVEMBER 07: The District Administration Samba today organised a momentous celebration at Government Higher Secondary School (Boys) Vijaypur, marking the inauguration of nationwide festivities commemorating 150 years of India’s iconic National Song, ‘Vande Mataram’. The event began with the resonant strains of the National Anthem, immediately followed by a soul-stirring collective rendition of the National Song by enthusiastic students, whose voices united to create an atmosphere charged with patriotic passion and national pride. The celebration showcased the rich cultural tapestry of the nation through captivating group dances and stirring patriotic songs, each performance embodying the enduring spirit of unity, devotion and unwavering commitment to the motherland that Vande Mataram has inspired across generations.
In a historic convergence of local and national pride, the event was live-streamed simultaneously with the national-level inauguration presided over by the Prime Minister of India, seamlessly connecting Samba’s participants with millions across the country in a shared celebration of this timeless anthem of freedom and sacrifice.
