MVD Poonch conducts awareness drive on traffic rules

 POONCH, JANUARY 14: Assistant Regional Transport Officer Poonch Basharat Mahmood and Inspector Gurmeet Singh Bali along with team MVD Poonch today conducted an awareness drive along Poonch District to aware public regarding traffic rules to be followed as moral responsibility.

Tehsildar Haveli Anjum Khan khattak was also present during the drive. Commendation certificates were distributed among the people who were found riding motor cycles wearing helmets and those driving cars wearing seat belts.

 Speaking on the occasion Inspector Gurmeet Singh Bali said that the week is being celebrated with full enthusiasm across the district where in people were made aware regarding safety principles so that any untoward incidents can be avoided. 

He appealed people to drive safely within speed limits wearing seat belts. People were also requested to act as ombudsman and inform authorities of any vehicles is seen overloaded or driving rashly.
