SAMBA, FEBRUARY 02: A Team of ARTO Samba today conducted day long checking on different locations on NH 44. During the drive as many as 200 vehicles were checked out of which 90 vehicles were Challaned/ Compounded. An amount of Rs 119000 fine was realized on the spot while an amount of Rs 250000 is expected from remaining challans booked under various sections of M V Act and rules.
The offences included FC violations (56/192)-07 No, DL violations (3/181)-03 No, Dangerous driving (184)-07 No, R/P violations (66/192A)-18 No., O/Load Goods (113/194)-11 No., HSRP violations (39/192)-04 No., Disobedience (179)-05 No., Gen. Offence (177)-13 No., W/o PUCC(190-ii)-07 No., R/C violations (39/192)-22 No., Overheight (194 1 A)-06 No., Overload Pass (194 A)-01, W/o Insurance (146/196)-01 No., W/o Seat Belt (194 B)-01, W/O Helmet (194 D)- 02 No.
In addition to this, notice for cancellation of RC was issued to two vehicles and cancellation of route permit to 1vehicle.
The team comprising Rehana Tabassam, ARTO, Vikas Srivats MVI, Darshan Kumar MVTA, besides Rohit, Jagdish and NYC voluntaries assisted the checking team.
