KISHTWAR, APRIL 08: The Special Summary Revision Express 2023 was flagged off by the Additional District Development Commissioner, Sham Lal. The express will travel through various locations to raise awareness about the recently launched Special Summary Revision within the district.
The Deputy District Election Officer informed that the Special Summary Revision 2023 has started in the district and provides an opportunity for individuals who are turning 18 years old by 1st April 2023 or are already 18 or older to register to vote. Existing voters can make corrections, change their location or delete their name from the electoral register if necessary. The last date to register is 20th April 2023.
New voters can contact their Booth Level Officers (BLOs) or Tehsildar concerned for registration. Special camps for the Summary Revision of the electoral register will be held on the 9th and 15th of April at all polling stations. New voters are encouraged to attend and register themselves.

The Special Summary Revision Express was flagged off in the presence of the Additional Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar, Inderjeet Singh Parihar; Assistant Commissioner Revenue, Varunjeet Singh Charak; Deputy Chief Election Office, J&K Akhter Hussain Qazi; Deputy District Election Officer, Naresh Kumar along with other officials.
