Handicrafts & Handloom Deptt organises Awareness/ Exhibition camp at Block Bagtore, Gurez

 

BANDIPORA, MAY 15: The Handicrafts and Handloom Department Block Gurez has organised a daylong awareness cum exhibition camp at Bagtore, Gurez.

AHTO Gurez, Owais Ahmad inaugurated the camp while Senior Craft Instructors, Junior Craft Instructor, Sarpanchs and ward members besides a large number of artisans attended the camp.

On the occasion AHTO Gurez said that the objective of organising the camp was to make artisans aware of the various welfare programs and schemes of the department.

He appealed artisan fraternity to come forward and get themselves registered with the department so that benefits available for them are availed-off by them without any difficulty and they are helped to stand on their own.

On the occasion, about 70 artisans registration cards were distributed among the artisans.
