VBSY starts across 16 Panchayats in Kathua District

 KATHUA, NOVEMBER 28: ViksitBharat Sankalp Yatra (VBSY) commenced today in 16 Panchayat Halqas of Hiranagar, Billawar and Mahanpur blocks of the district, here. These 13 Panchayats include Jandi, Sube Chak, Satura, Gara and Bhaiya in Block Hiranagar, Panchayat Dewal, Dhar, Malti, Dharamkot, Bhaddu Lower and Bahddu Uppar in Block Billawar.

Panchayats Plail, Dambra-west, Mahanpur-Uppar, Mahanpur-A and Nowshera of Block Mahanpur. During the Yatra, officers and officials continued to aware people about government schemes and interacted with people and beneficiaries.

 Under Meri Kahani, Meri Zubaani, beneficiaries of different schemes shared their experiences.

Drone and soil health card demonstrations, health camps for screening of TB, Sickle Cell Anaemia and other on spot services were provided to the locals. The Officers and officials remained busy in IEC activities at all the Panchayats of the block.

Flagship schemes, including PM KISAN, Vishwakarma, Suraksha Bima Yojna,Jeevan Jyoti, Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana, Pradhan Mantri Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana, JJM, Poshan Abhiyaan and scores of other schemes including welfare, employment and income generation based schemes were highlighted.

The District and block officers and officials from line departments and PRIs, students and locals participated in Viksit Bharat Yatra programmes in these panchayats.
