District Kishtwar Commemorates Partition Horror Remembrance Day-2023

 

KISHTWAR, AUGUST 14: District Administration Kishtwar, led by Deputy Commissioner, Dr. Devansh Yadav today observed the Partition Horror Remembrance Day 2023.

The event held at public spaces across the district, aimed to honor the memory of those affected by the tragic partition.

Under the close supervision of District Information Officer Maneet Sharma, an impactful program was organized, including a special screening of a documentary shedding light on the harrowing experiences of partition survivors here in Cinema Theatre, TRC.

The day's proceedings concluded on a patriotic note, with the entire gathering standing united to sing the National Anthem, reminding everyone of the importance of unity and solidarity.

This event not only paid tribute to the victims of the partition but also served as a reminder of the horrors of that period in history, urging us to strive for a peaceful and harmonious future.
